Athletics Day

We had a great time at athletics the other day!

Manaiakalani Film Festival

We were lucky enough to have our movie chosen for the Manaiakalani Film Festival evening show. Miss Nalder picked up Kiarah and Kharizma (our two class presenters) and Angelica and Inga, and we met Miss Nalder's husband Jono at Sylvia Park for dinner at McDonalds. Kharizma was very slow at eating because she kept talking, and Angelica managed to spill her burger down her front.... but we had fun!

The Christmas Story

Over 2000 years ago a boy was born in Bethlehem. His story has become one of the most famous in the world. The students in Room 27, Pt England School decided to tell their own version of this story. Our movie was based on the film made by St Paul’s Church in Auckland. We hope you enjoy our version of “The Christmas Story.”

Welcome to Term 4!

This term started off with a bang... literally! Our school topic for this term is called "Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes" and it is a science topic about changing matter. In our immersion assembly Mr J and Mrs Garden tried to blow something up!

Netball Prizegiving

A few weeks ago we had the Pt England School Netball Prizegiving. There were 15 teams. We had delicious kai, then handed out all the awards. It was a great night!

Good job Journey-Lee on getting the Duffy award on Friday for trying really hard with her learning and to be resilient!

On Friday morning we rang Miss Nalder's husband to say good luck for a big exam he was sitting. We sent him a selfie and a good luck message!

Kortez is on fire!

Kortez got the Duffy award of Friday for having the best week ever! Well done for all your hard work this week Kortez and staying so positive! You're a star!

Goodbye Lovey

Yesterday we said goodbye to our classmate and friend, Lovey. We loved having Lovey in our class and we'll miss her lots. She is going back to her old school in Hamilton. Take care Lovey! Xx

Nits, colds, and clean hands

On Friday Amy and Shannon came to talk to us about keeping ourselves healthy. Amy is our public health nurse. They talked to us about how to treat our hair when we get nits, what to do when you get a cold, and how to wash our hands properly. We learnt heaps! Thanks Amy and Shannon!
