The kids in Room 24 at Pt England School have a message for the adults who think they are in charge of the world. They reckon that some of the adults making decisions in the world right now (not mentioning any names...) are not thinking of future generations.
They have suggestions for looking after the environment, what we should do with the economy, and how people should be behaving.
We hope you enjoy Room 24s pep talk: A Message to the Adults.

Manaiakalani Film Festival
We were lucky enough to have our movie chosen for the Manaiakalani Film Festival evening show. Miss Nalder picked up Kiarah and Kharizma (our two class presenters) and Angelica and Inga, and we met Miss Nalder's husband Jono at Sylvia Park for dinner at McDonalds. Kharizma was very slow at eating because she kept talking, and Angelica managed to spill her burger down her front.... but we had fun!

The Christmas Story
Over 2000 years ago a boy was born in Bethlehem. His story has become one of the most famous in the world. The students in Room 27, Pt England School decided to tell their own version of this story. Our movie was based on the film made by St Paul’s Church in Auckland. We hope you enjoy our version of “The Christmas Story.”

Manaiakalani Film - Friendship
In 2012, a group of NZ singers wrote and performed a song called “Feel Inside” to raise money to help kids who were really sick. Class 13 at Pt England have written and performed our own song to spread the message about being a good friend.
We would like to thank the cool kids in Years 2 and 3 that helped us with the song lyrics, and also Stan Walker and Jessica Mauboy for the music.
