SNAG Golf

On Thursday, we had our first kiwisport lesson for the year. We are going to be learning to play golf! It was loads of fun trying to hit the ball into a target!

Experience time

On Thursday afternoon, we had Experience Time where we practiced co-operating with others, sharing, taking turns and playing nicely.

Well done Ozzy!

Congratulations to Ozzy who got the Duffy Award at assembly this week. He received it for having great manners and always saying thank you. Keep it up Ozzy!

Learning on our iPads

This week we began learning on our iPads. We wrote story to introduce ourselves, then began typing it on a Google doc. Next week we will post this on our blogs!

Welcome back to school!

We have just had our first two days in Room 27. It has been exciting getting to know each other, and starting to work on our iPads. Very soon we will be posting on our own blogs!

Baking Santa's Cookies

This morning I have been busy in the kitchen baking! I'm not a very good baker, like Miss Ouano is, but I love eating it! Luckily for me, Noah and his lovely mum gave me a ready-to-bake jar of Santa's Cookies at the end of last year. Thanks so much Noah and Shannon! They are absolutely delicious! Here's what they look like.

2014 - The Busiest Year Yet

School has closed and we are now all on our summer holidays. It has been such a busy and wonderful year with Class 13. We have all learnt a great deal together, and had so much fun along the way.

It was very sad to say goodbye on Wednesday, our last day of school. We said goodbye not only to each other, but to the lovely Mrs O'Neill who has spent time in our classroom this year. We hope you come back and see us next year.

Congratulations to all the students of Class 13 for an incredible year. You all made fantastic progress in your learning, and you also grew up a lot too. A special congratulations must go to our prizewinners:

• Atareita, Paige and Mitchell for their academic awards
• Samoa for citizenship
• John for effort
• Noah and Simon for performing arts

Also, well done to Ajani, Noah and Mitchell for being selected by Mr Burt to be school photographers for 2014.
